Job Description:

We are actively seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Service Portal development, scripting, and expertise in UI Builder. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless user experiences and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Service Portal Development:

• Design, develop, and enhance Service Portals to meet organizational requirements.
• Customize and configure widgets, pages, and themes within the Service Portal framework.
• Ensure Service Portals align with best practices for usability and user experience.

 Scripting:

• Utilize scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and Jelly for customizations and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and other scripts to optimize ServiceNow functionality.

UI Builder Expertise:

• Leverage UI Builder capabilities to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and user-friendly designs.
• Ensure consistency in UI/UX across ServiceNow applications.

ServiceNow Development:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow features and contribute to continuous improvement.

Integration:

• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and other web service technologies.
• Develop and maintain integration processes to enhance overall system efficiency.

Technical Documentation:

• Create and update comprehensive technical documentation for all ServiceNow development activities.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong expertise in Service Portal development and customization.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and Jelly.
• Experience with UI Builder and creating visually appealing user interfaces.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow modules including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Catalog.
• Knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP) and integration methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
